Utility token, not an investment
OLC is a utility token for OVERLANDCOIN quests and community. It is not an investment, security, share or savings product, and it carries no right to profits, dividends, interest, buy-backs or redemption. There is no staking and no yield. Buy OLC only if you want to use it in the OVERLANDCOIN ecosystem.
No promise of value or returns
Nobody can promise that OLC will be worth anything, gain value, get listed on an exchange or have a market at all. Presale batch prices are just the prices for each batch; they aren't a prediction or a guarantee of any future price. Roadmap items are plans that may change or never happen.
Volatility and liquidity
Crypto assets are extremely volatile. The price of OLC, if a market exists, may fall sharply or go to zero, and you may not be able to sell at any price.
You can lose all of your money
Only spend what you can afford to lose completely. Losses can come from market moves, lost or stolen keys, phishing, sending to a wrong address, wallet or software bugs, Solana network outages, swap slippage or failures, regulatory action, or the project failing or stopping.
No refunds once on-chain
Every purchase is a blockchain transaction you sign yourself. Once it lands it is final and can't be reversed, cancelled or refunded, except for amounts the presale page explicitly marks as refundable.

Your local laws and taxes
Crypto rules differ by country and state and can change quickly. You're responsible for making sure buying, holding and using OLC is legal where you live, and for reporting and paying any taxes. Don't take part where it's prohibited.
Technology and counterparty risk
OVERLANDCOIN relies on the Solana blockchain, wallet apps, RPC providers, Jupiter swaps, price feeds and our own servers and hot wallets. Any of these can fail, be attacked or behave unexpectedly. Token supply is fixed (mint authority revoked) and allocations are published on the Transparency page, but those safeguards don't remove market or project risk.
Quests are physical activities
Quests take you to real places that can be remote or dangerous. Rewards are promotional and limited. Your safety and following local rules are your responsibility.
